St. Paul's Lutheran Church

Our Mission since 1866

BELIEVE IN JESUS
BELONG TO JESUS
BECOME LIKE JESUS

In 1866, Pastor J. List of Sherman Center, at the request of Lutherans residing in Cascade, began conducting worship services on the second floor of the Ballhorn Harness Shop.
Once a month, on Sunday afternoon, Pastor List led a “preaching” service. All other services were on Sunday morning.
Mr. Edward Plaster was the song LEADER AND read the sermon to those gatheredwhen a “reading” service was held.
And so, what we know today as St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Cascade, began.
