The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) was established in 1942 as the official women’s organization of the Lutheran Church— Missouri Synod.
The first women who gathered under our name served God and others by sewing clothes for seminarians, volunteering in hospitals, establishing schools, developing convalescent and retirement homes, assisting orphanages and residences for people with disabilities, and funding missions at home and abroad.
Today, as Lutheran Women in Mission, we honor that history and focus on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active Mission ministries, serving their community at home and supporting missions around the world by funding grants.
The St. Paul’s LWML meets the second Thursday of the month at 10am.
